The Sorsogon State University Governing Board of Regents held its 3rd Quarter Meeting last October 25, 2023, at the Camarines Norte State College, Main Campus, Daet, Camarines Norte.
Chaired by CHED Commissioner Dr. Aldrin A. Darilag, the meeting was attended by the honorable members of the SorSU Board of Regents.
Newly elected University Student Council President Mr. Erwin Formento also took his oath of office as the Student Regent. As a member of the highest governing body of the University, he will represent the SorSU studentry and its affairs in Board Meetings.
Moreover, SorSU President Dr. Geraldine F. De Jesus highlighted the International Engagements of the University in her report as the new University international collaborations and partnership agreements, active membership and affiliation to international organizations, international academic mobility, recipient of the faculty exchange program, international student internship program and the international activities conducted.
Other items in the report were the performance results for the 3rd quarter, student development & activities, Research, Extension and Training, and more updates.
Furthermore, the meeting agenda was presented, examined, and given substantial and necessary resolutions to continuously help the University in fulfilling its mission, vision, and goals. (SorSU PIO)
