In recognition of the academe’s invaluable contribution to the Access and Benefit Sharing (ABS) Project, Sorsogon State University (SorSU), represented by Dr. Ryan V. Dio (Vice President for Research, Extension, and Training), was honored by the Department of Environment and Natural Resources – Regional Office V (DENR-ROV) as one of its distinguished partners and awarded a Certificate of Recognition during the Saringaya Awards Ceremony on June 30, 2025, at The Marison Hotel, Legazpi City, Albay.
The Saringaya Awards event serves as DENR’s annual platform to celebrate exceptional institutions and partners whose dedicated efforts have made a significant impact on the advancement of environmental protection and natural resource management in the Bicol Region.
