SorSU signs MOA with the Cultural Center of the Philippines

In a significant move towards fostering cultural ties, the Sorsogon State University and the Cultural Center of the Philippines (CCP) formalized their collaboration through the signing of a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) on June 19, 2024, at the SorSU Boardroom, Sorsogon City Campus.

SUC President III, Dr. Geraldine F. De Jesus, and Ms. Valine Mae Calmerin, (Senior Culture and Arts Officer, Artist Training Division, Arts Education Department, CCP), spearheaded the signing ceremony. Dr. Joel Reginales, (President, Bicol Regional Teachers Rondalla), also signed the agreement, while Prof. Edwin Balgemino (Sorsogon State University’s Choirmaster), stood witness to the event. Their collective presence highlighted SorSU’s steadfast commitment to providing inclusive opportunities for all talented students to learn more about the musical arts.
