SorSU student-athletes Fababaer, Aranda seize championship at Magayon Festival 2024 Beach Volleyball Category (Women’s Division); SorSUeno dancers Mirabete, Olivar bag 5th Place (Grade D Latin), SorSU Faculty Encinares, Jr. wins 4th Place in Grade C Latin & 2nd Place in Teacher-Student Latin Category at 2nd Magayon Festival 2024 Open Dancesport Competition and PDSF Ranking Point System
The Sorsogon State University (SorSU) extends its warm congratulations and commendation to its several student-athletes and student-dancers for their outstanding performance and notable achievements at the recently-concluded Magayon Festival 2024 Beach Volleyball Open Tournament (Women’s Category) and 2nd Magayon Festival 2024 Open Dancesport Competition and Philippine Dancesport Federation (PDSF) Inc. Ranking Point System, respectively, both are among the featured events for the month-long celebration of Magayon Festival 2024, from May 1-31, 2024.
In competitive sports event category, Sarhandie Mae Fababaer (BSHM) and Kimberly Aranda (BT-Mechanical Technology) exhibited exemplary athletic prowess — thus successfully bagged CHAMPIONSHIP and were also awarded as Most Valuable Players (MVPs) during the Magayon Festival 2024 Beach Volleyball Open Tournament (Women’s Division), last May 11-12, 2024, at the Sawangan Park, Legazpi City, Albay.
Moreover, several SorSUeno student-dancers likewise showcased remarkable achievements at the 2nd Magayon Festival 2024 Open Dancesport Competition and PDSF Ranking Point System, held from May 10-12, 2024, at the Albay Astrodome, Legazpi City, Albay.
