On July 14, 2025, the Office of the Vice President for Academic Affairs of Sorsogon State University, led by Dr. Jhonner D. Ricafort, conducted a meeting at the SorSU Dormtel, Sorsogon City, to evaluate Academic Year 2024-2025 and to prepare for the opening of classes for Academic Year 2025-2026.
The meeting, attended by Campus Directors, Deans, and Program Chairs, focused on the Post-Academic Evaluation, where each Dean presented their respective accomplishments, best practices, challenges encountered, and opportunities for improvement based on the previous academic year. Faculty needs were also identified and discussed in preparation for the new academic year.
During the meeting, SUC President III, Dr. Geraldine F. De Jesus, offered insights, feedback, and recommendations to enhance institutional performance and address areas for development.
