Guests from Helsenki, Finland came to Sorsogon State University (SorSU) and met with SUC President III, Dr. Geraldine F. De Jesus, at the SorSU Office of the President, today, March 6, 2024.
In a conversation with the President, the group shared that it is their first visit to Sorsogon Province, and that part of their usual travel itinerary is to visit state universities in the area of their destination. This enthusiasm led them to search about the “Pamantasang may Puso” and eventually stop by the university to tour and buy SorSU souvenirs.
President De Jesus took the initiative to give SorSU official merchandise to the visitors, gaining heartfelt smiles and appreciation from the group. The group also had the opportunity to learn more about the lone state university in the province and visited SorSU’s iconic and state of the art facility, the “University Library”. After the meeting, the family genuinely expressed their admiration for the hospitality of the President and the university personnel.
SorSU wholeheartedly welcomes both local and international visitors, travelers, and tourists alike, who want to immerse, discover and learn more about the university.
