Towards a Healthy Workforce: SorSU Health Service Unit Administers Anti-Flu Vaccine for Bulan Campus Employees

As part of its efforts to ensure the health and safety of its employees which are essential in enabling them to provide quality services to their clients, Sorsogon State University, through the Medical and Health Services Unit, initiated a free annual anti-influenza vaccination for its employees in Bulan Campus today, August 16, 2024.

The vaccination team was led by Dr. Medin Nicolas, Head of Medical and Health Services Unit, and Dr. Ludovic Tan, SorSU-Bulan Campus Physician. Also part of the team were the registered nurses of the university.


Before vaccination, health check-up was conducted for the SorSU employees to ensure that they were medically allowed to be vaccinated. Some employees who were not inoculated with anti-pneumonia vaccine last year were also accommodated.


The SorSU-Bulan Campus administration expressed its gratitude to the Medical and Health Services Unit for the immunization. With this benefit, the campus administration hopes for a healthier and more productive human resource.
