With the theme: “Sumpay: Knotting Ties, Inspiriting, and Equipping Proud Future Filipino Service Industry Professionals” the College of Business and Management (CBM) – Hospitality and Tourism Society (HATS) organization conducts its 3-day HATS Week 2023, from April 26-28, 2023, at SorSU Covered Court, Sorsogon City Campus.
An inside campus parade participated by Hospitality and Tourism Management students, commenced the 3-day event. Following the parade of unity was a brief program, where the proceedings of the events for the HATS Week were provided. Moreover, Mr. Novie F. Evasco (Program Chair of BS Hospitality Management and Adviser of HATS organization) also delivered a short message to the HATS students during the program proper.
Meanwhile, to showcase the talent and professional skills of HATS students, a series of competition activities on ‘Table Napkin Folding’, ‘Centerpiece Making’, & Fruit Carving’, as well as ‘Extemporaneous Tour Guiding’, ‘Airline Announcement’, & Flight Attendant Showmanship’ were held during the afternoon program.
Furthermore, HATS students are also enthusiastically looking forward to the lined-up exciting events prepared for Day 2 & Day 3 of HATS Week 2023, which feature a team-building activity with 15 teams and a night of glitz, glam, & Filipino pride called 𝘗𝘢𝘳𝘢𝘪𝘴𝘰: 𝘍𝘪𝘭𝘪𝘱𝘪𝘯𝘰 𝘌𝘭𝘦𝘨𝘢𝘯𝘻𝘢 𝘉𝘢𝘭𝘭, respectively.
