The Sorsogon State University Bulan Campus conducted the National Service Training Program (NSTP) Graduation Ceremony and the Turnover of Command of the Reserve Officers’ Training Corps (ROTC) in a joint activity held last June 4, 2023 at the Social Hall, SorSU Bulan Campus.
In a message delivered by Prof. Ma. Claire M. Dicen, NSTP Director and keynote speaker for the activity, she inspired the 672 Civil Welfare Training Service (CWTS) and 125 ROTC students to value the knowledge they have gained in their NSTP journey, she said, “As the NSTP program aims to develop in you civic consciousness and defense preparedness, we assure that the values of love for our country and your dedication to serve others will be your moral compass. Your values make you humane, let us all say ‘Makatao ako at may values kaya mahalaga ako sa pamilya ko, sa komunidad, sa SorSU, sa Sorsogon, sa lipunan ng Republika ng Pilipinas’, dahil sa NSTP mahalaga ang kalinangan ng values.”
