This also marks the first time SorSU LHS had partook in a national elimination for an international competition with 22 selected students.

The TIMO is an annual international Olympiad competition jointly organized by the Olympiad Champion Education Group (OCEC) from Hong Kong and Thailand Mathematics Society which aims to stimulate and foster young peopleโ€™s interest in learning mathematics, strengthen the ability of their creative thinking, widen their international perspective, and promote the development of primary and secondary education and exchange of educational cultures throughout countries/regions.

Moreover, the TIMO is participated by several regions/countries such as Australia, Azerbaijan, Brazil, Bulgaria, Cambodia, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Iran, Kyrgyzstan, Malaysia, Myanmar, Nigeria, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Taiwan, Thailand, and Philippines.

The TIMO Heat Roundโ€™s coverage challenged student participants in five (5) areas namely (1) Logical Thinking, (2) Arithmetic/Algebra, (3) Number Theory, (4) Geometry and (5) Combinatorics. Prior to the competition, the students underwent sets of coaching sessions from October 16, 18 to 20, 2023.

The following are the 22 well represented and selected Laboratory High School students who challenged the Thailand International Mathematical Olympiad according to respective levels:
