In connection to the weeklong activities of Sorsogon State University Fish Conservation Week 2023, the conduct of the 4th Quarter Nationwide Simultaneous Earthquake Drill with Magallanes Medical Response Team, Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction Management Council task force headed by Ms. Nilda L. Conda and Mr. Arvin Andes, SorSU Disaster Risk Reduction Management Coordinator and were participated by SorSU personnel and students.
At noon, students gather together at SorSU-MC grounds for the Boodle Fight – a Filipino tradition involving food placed on the table/banana leaves for everyone in the group or family to share.
Later in the afternoon a Fish Lantern parade featuring the Fish Lanterns created by the SorSU-MC Students will be displayed around Poblacion. To be followed by the Search for Ms. Grand Fisheries 2023 at the SorSU-MC Auditorium. (SorSU-MC)
