Sorsogon State University collaborates with other leading universities in the Philippines for the research project signed the Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) on the Phytochemical Characterization of Macroalgae for Food and High Value Products (PhycoPRO).
This multi-million research project is funded through the CHED’s “Leading the Advancement of Knowledge in Agriculture and Sciences (LAKAS)” program. The fund for the project allocated to SorSU is Php 12,054,288.
The Research Funding Agreement (RFA) and Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) were signed last July 11, 2022, at CHED Central Office by Atty. Ryan Estevez, OIC-Office of the SorSU President, other SUC Presidents, and the CHED Chairman, Prospero E. De Vera III.
