In a collaborative effort between the Office of Student Council Affairs, Campus Secretary, and Student Publication Services, the Official Student Publication of SorSU Castilla, The Bloom, hosted a dynamic one-day seminar workshop on June 3, 2024. The event aimed to inspire and engage young minds in the realm of campus journalism, covering a diverse range of topics including photojournalism, digital lay outing, news writing, and the intricacies of school paper publication.
Themed “Facilitating the Cultivation of 21st Century Student Writers through Innovative, Creative, and Responsible Campus Journalism,” the workshop attracted a significant number of enthusiastic students who actively participated in the enriching experience. Esteemed Resource Speakers such as Mr. Junie B. Marifosque, Mr. Neil Angelo L. Fullente, Mr. Christo Junior K. Geronga, and Ms. Betty D. Equipado graced the event as resource speakers, sharing their invaluable knowledge and insights on the nuances of campus journalism with the eager attendees.
