The Sorsogon State University – Disaster Risk Reduction and Management/Climate Change (DRRM/CC) Office, in coordination with the Sorsogon Province Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office, will be organizing a university-wide online Basic DRRM Orientation for new SorSUeños via Zoom Meeting and Facebook Live (on SorSU Official FB Page) on August 14, 2024, from 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM.
The activity will likewise feature a discussion from SorSU – Safety and Security Services Unit on the safety and security protocols inside the campuses to guarantee observance of order and discipline on the school premises.
NOTE: All new SorSUenos (including first-year students and transferees in tertiary & graduate levels and Grade 7 LHS students) are required to attend the DRRM orientation.
The event is in line with SorSU-DRRM/CC’s flagship initiative, “Project ADRESHU or A Disaster Resilient and Environmentally Safe and Healthy University”.
