SorSU-DRRM/CC Office leads meeting to address concerns about campus student activities, other related matters

Spearheaded by the Sorsogon State University – Disaster Risk Reduction and Management/Climate Change Office (SorSU-DDRM/CC), a meeting was organized on September 20, 2024 at the SorSU Audio-Visual Hall to effectively discuss and address concerns regarding campus student activities in relation to the Office of the President (OP) Memorandum No. 105, s. 2022 (Guidelines on In-Campus Student Activities) and DRRM/CC Memorandum No. 1, s. 2024 (Emergency Protocols) among student council officers, advisers/presidents/secretaries of student organizations, ROTC Corp Commander/NSTP implementers, and officers of Non-Teaching Personnel Association/Faculty Organization.

Along with the abovementioned memoranda, the meeting also tackled other related concerns on safety and security, general services, solid waste segregation, and health services.


The conducted meeting is consistent with the DRRMO’s Project ADRESHU or A Disaster Resilient and Environmentally Safe and Healthy University, under the leadership of Prof. Saturnino C. Carranza (Director, DRRM/CC Office). (SorSU PIO)
