SORSOGON STATE UNIVERSITY – UNIVERSITY STUDENT COUNCIL FACE-TO-FACE ELECTION 2024

The Supreme Student Council officers from Bulan, Castilla, Magallanes, and Sorsogon City attended the event.
“Ang kabataan ang pag-asa ng bayan,” said Mr. Rytzz Obsum, adviser to the University Student Council (USC). He also emphasized, “Ang kabataan ay dapat naaasahan ng bayan.” This powerful message resonated with the youth, reminding them that they play a vital role in the betterment of both the community and the country.
The vote counting soon commenced, and the newly elected USC officers were proclaimed after the tally. The following individuals were elected:
President: ALFRED GABELO (SorSU – Castilla Campus)
Vice President: NORGEL BERMUNDO (SorSU – Magallanes Campus)
Secretary: HILARY BELARDO (SorSU – Sorsogon City Campus)
Treasurer: DIANA ROSE NICOL (SorSU – Bulan Campus)
Auditor: RALPH LAURENCE JANORAS (SorSU – Sorsogon City Campus)
Public Relations Officer: SOC BAILON (SorSU – Magallanes Campus)
Business Managers:
ZEDRICK ESCOBEDO (SorSU – Castilla Campus)
JANNA GRABILLO (SorSU – Bulan Campus)
The election was overseen by the Election Committee (ELECOM), which included Erwin Formento (SorSU – Bulan Campus), Karl Anthony Zapa (SorSU – Castilla Campus), Ricardo Amistoso Jr. (SorSU – Magallanes Campus), and Roselyn Gonzales (SorSU – Bulan Campus).
