In celebration of World Teachers’ Day, the College Student Council of Sorsogon State University Castilla Campus, in collaboration with SorSU Castilla Student Organizations, hosted a special tribute for the faculty on the afternoon of October 4, 2024, at the FTC AV Hall.
The event began with a warm welcome and inspiring remarks from SorSU Castilla Campus Director Prof. Andrew F. Detera, Organized by the Student Council, the tribute featured a series of thoughtful surprises, including fun games, heartfelt messages from loved ones, and lively intermission numbers. Awards of recognition were also presented to honor the faculty members for their outstanding contributions to educational excellence.
The program concluded with closing remarks from Dr. Rochele N. Aragon, Dean of the College of Agriculture, The celebration left both faculty and students with a renewed sense of appreciation, marking the occasion as a memorable tribute to the dedication and hard work of the SorSU Castilla teaching community.
