Sorsogon State University (SorSU) SUC President III, Geraldine F. De Jesus, joined the investiture of Dr. Jeffrey A. Clarin as the 5th University President of Aklan State University (ASU), on January 31, 2025, at the Marzon Convention Center, Kalibo, Aklan.
Notably, Hon. J. Prospero De Vera III, DPA (CHED Chairperson & Chairperson, ASU Board of Regents) was among the esteemed dignitaries of the investiture ceremony. In addition, PASUC V Presidents, including Dr. Baby Boy Benjamin D. Nebres III (Bicol University), Dr. Alberto N. Naperi (Central Bicol State University of Agriculture), Dr. Arnel B. Millesca (Dr. Emilio B. Espinosa Sr. Memorial State College of Agriculture and Technology), and Dr. Alex H. Navarozza (Bicol State College of Applied Science and Technology), also attended the event.
