On March 10, 2025, SUC President III, Dr. Geraldine F. De Jesus welcomed a courtesy visit from the students of the Doctor of Philosophy in Nursing (PhDN) Major in Nursing Administration from Our Lady of Fatima University Graduate School of Health-Valenzuela Campus, Valenzuela City.
As part of their clinical practicum at an academic institution, the students selected Sorsogon State University for their visit, recognizing it as a leading research university and the pioneering institution in the province to offer a BS Nursing Program.
The visit, facilitated by Mr. Robert Jamisola (Associate Dean-Nursing, CoHaS), took place at the Office of the University President. Dr. Teresa Haide R. Belgica (Acting Dean-CoHaS), Ms. Athena Masip (Dean of CHS-USTL), Mr. Marlo Bobier (Faculty Member from BUCN), and Ms. Mary Anne Frances Reyes (Associate Dean-Midwifery, CoHaS) were also present during the courtesy visit.
