On March 19, 2025, the Department of Budget and Management (DBM), led by Ms. Ma. Cecilia M. Narido (Director of the Budget Technical Bureau, DBM Central Office), along with Ms. Olivia G. Regner (Assistant Director of the Budget Technical Bureau, DBM Central Office) and other Budget Technical Bureau officials, paid a courtesy visit to SUC President III, Dr. Geraldine F. De Jesus, at the Office of the University President.
Present during the meeting were Mr. Gerald E. Fulay, JD (Vice President for Administration and Finance), Dr. Jhonner D. Ricafort (Vice President for Academic Affairs), Dr. Ryan V. Dio (Vice President for Research and Extension Services), Dr. Telesforo D. Escoto (Campus Director, Sorsogon City Campus), Dr. Orlando D. Doncillo (Dean, COT), Dr. Leny D. Berdin (CAO-Finance Division), Dr. Sylisa J. Estur (CAO-Administrative Division), Ms. Sally D. Labitag (SAO-Finance Division), Dr. Maria Lourdes G. Barrozo (SAO-Administrative Division), Mr. Jordan B. Doroja (Accountant III), Ms. Ma. Patricia F. Banares (Budget Officer III), and Ms. Marife G. Glomar (Administrative Officer I). The group also visited the University Library and SorSU Dormtel.
Earlier, Dr. Berdin, Dr. Estur, Dr. Barrozo, and Ms. Banares welcomed the DBM officials, who were later hosted by SorSU President Dr. De Jesus for dinner at Rosario’s Cafe & Restaurant in Sorsogon City, overlooking the popular Sorsogon Sports Arena of the Province of Sorsogon. (SorSU PIO).
