Celebrating excellence and sportsmanship: SorSU-Sorsogon City Campus culminates successful four-day SorSU Games 2025 — Crimson Wolves (COT) claims back-to-back championship

Themed “SorSU Games 2025: Building Bonds, Breaking Barriers, Becoming Champions Together,” Sorsogon State University (SorSU) – Sorsogon City Campus officially concluded its four-day SorSU Games 2025 with closing and awarding ceremonies on May 8, 2025, at the SorSU Covered Court, Sorsogon City Campus.

The ceremonies commenced with an opening message from Mr. Christian G. Fugen (FPM Adviser) commenced, followed by an intermission performance by SorSU TAC-SaKaTe.


Celebrating excellence, sportsmanship, and camaraderie, the awarding ceremony resounded with cheers from the crowd as athletes and participants’ outstanding achievements and hard work were recognized with awards and accolades.


Following the four-day fierce competition among the five colleges, the College of Technology – Crimson Wolves reclaimed the overall championship, securing a total of 94 gold medals, 63 silver medals, and 32 bronze medals. Verdant Vipers (College of Engineering and Architecture) seized 1st runner-up with 67 golds, 67 silvers, and 51 bronzes, followed by the Rising Golden Phoenix (College of Business and Management) as 2nd runner-up, earning a total of 60 golds, 45 silvers, and 38 bronzes. Meanwhile, the 3rd runner-up spot was secured by the College of Teacher Education – Navy Falcons with 27 golds, 45 silvers, and 44 bronzes, whereas the College of Health and Science – Royal Panthers finished as 4th runner-up, garnering 2 golds, 6 silvers, and 17 bronzes.


The four-day SorSU Games 2025 capped off with Athletes’ Night, a celebration and tribute recognizing the excellence, camaraderie, and hard work of athletes, participants, and organizing committees. (SorSU PIO)
