SorSU President’s Proactive Leadership Sets New Benchmark in Academic Services

Demonstrating strategic foresight and a strong commitment to student service, Sorsogon State University has once again made history by releasing original Transcripts of Records (TORs) to graduating students 14 days before the official commencement exercises. This pioneering initiative was directly the result of the proactive leadership of SUC President III, Dr. Geraldine F. De Jesus.

The early issuance of TORs began on June 17, 2025, across four campuses (Sorsogon City, Bulan, Castilla, and Magallanes), marking a first in the university’s history. This unprecedented action was made possible through the leadership of the Office of the University Registrar, headed by Mrs. Rosalie Ballatan-Gabito.

In addition to the early release of TORs, diplomas were also prepared in advance and will be available for distribution on the day of the graduation ceremony.

By prioritizing the early release of academic documents, the Pamantasang May Puso reaffirms its commitment to fostering a responsive and student-centered administrative system. Through these forward-thinking initiatives, SorSU continues to establish a benchmark in academic services, exemplifying efficiency and outstanding service. (SorSU PIO)
