The Sorsogon State University, popularly called as the Pamantasang May Puso, has proudly emerged as the 3rd Runner-Up in the prestigious Regional SCUAA 2025 – Bicol Region Sports Competition, which was recently held from February 17 to 22, 2025, at the Camarines College State University in Daet, Camarines Norte.
Showcasing exceptional athleticism and team spirit, the SorSU team earned a total of 159 medals, including 27 gold, 73 silver, and 59 bronze.
Under the leadership of SUC President III, Dr. Geraldine F. De Jesus, this remarkable achievement—by a team of 189 athletes —reflects their unwavering dedication, discipline, and commitment to excellence.
We are immensely proud of the entire SorSU SCUAA team led by Prof. Richard Kevin Espedido (Head, SorSU-Sports, Culture and Arts Services), together with the campus coordinators, respective coaches, key officials and personnel, and most importantly, the exemplary SorSUeno-athletes for competing and succeeding with exceptional passion and dedication during the Regional SCUAA V 2025.
