In line with the celebration of National Women’s Month this month of March, the students and faculty members of Sorsogon State University – Bulan Campus are one in supporting women empowerment though the #PurpleWednesday by wearing purple to honor the strength, resilience, and achievements of women.
The Supreme Student Council have also pin purple ribbons as a symbol of support for the strength, resilience, and undeniable impact of women in the society.
The wearing of purple every Wednesday is encouraged throughout March to promote women’s rights and gender equality.
This initiative aims to recognize the contributions of women worldwide and encourage everyone to continue supporting and empowering them.
Babae Ka, Hindi Babae Lang!
