SorSU President Dr. Geraldine F. De Jesus, and her top executives, warmly welcomed CHED Commissioner and Chairperson of the SorSU Board of Regents, Honorable Aldrin A. Darilag and SUC Presidents, Dr. Renee Amarille-Lamela of Dr. Emilio B. Espinosa Sr. Memorial State College of Agriculture and Technology, Dr. Patrick Alain T. Azanza of Catanduanes State University, Dr. Arnulfo Mascariñas of Bicol University, Dr. Alberto N. Naperi of Central Bicol State University of Agriculture, Dr. Charlito P. Cadag of Camarines Sur Polytechnic Colleges, Dr. Raul G. Bradecina of Partido State University, and Dr. Marlo M. De La Cruz of Camarines Norte State College, for a three-day Board of Regents/Trustees Meeting at Sorsogon City campus, Sorsogon City last October 20 to 22, 2022.
Emphasizing her vision of a “Pamantasang May Puso”, President De Jesus successfully presented her accomplishment report for the 3rd quarter of 2022. In attendance during the meeting was Hon. Evelina G. Escudero (via Zoom), Hon. Aldrin A. Darilag, Dir. Agnes Tolentino (Regional Director, NEDA), Dir. Rommel R. Serrano (Regional Director, DOST), Dr. Jhonner D. Ricafort (Alumni Regent), Hon. Achilles G. Honasan (Faculty Regent), Hon. Vince P. Janoras (Student Regent), and Atty. Septon A. De la Cruz (CHED ROV Regional Director) as the resource person.
The blessing and the ribbon-cutting ceremony of the newly-built board room and the office of the President also took place on October 20, 2022.
