Newly Licensed SorSU Architects Pay Courtesy Visit to President De Jesus

Ten (10) of the nineteen (19) newly licensed architects of Sorsogon State University (SorSU), who successfully passed the January 2026 Licensure Examination for Architects (LEA) paid a courtesy visit to SUC President III, Dr. Geraldine F. De Jesus, on February 9, 2026, at the Office of the University President.

Two (2) newly licensed architects, Ar. Mia Mae D. Fungo of the College of Technology and Ar. Ryan E. Cadag of the Project Management Office are currently employed by the university.


The courtesy visit formally recognized the passers’ success in the licensure examination and gave them the chance to thank the university for its support throughout their academic and professional preparation.


In attendance during the visit were Ar. Peter Aaron R. Nato (Program Chair), Ar. Jermel Dichoso-Grulla (Alumni Coordinator), Ar. Roel Joseph A. Grulla, Ar. Bernie S. Jeresano, Ar. Garner Ted G. Olavere, Ar. Nilene D. Conde, Ar. Ollyn E. Felipe, Ar. Jan-ly Diche-Baron and Ar. Anna Marie Valino.


The courtesy visit was also attended by Dr. Telesforo D. Escoto (Campus Director, Sorsogon City Campus), Dr. Jhonner D. Ricafort (Vice President for Academic Affairs), and Dr. Ar. Rafael J. Balicano (retired faculty member of the Architecture Department).
