Sorsogon State University joins the nation in observing Ease of Doing Business (EODB) Month 2026, with the theme: “Achieving Results through Transparency and Accountability (ARTA): Towards a More Productive Bagong Pilipinas.”
Pursuant to Presidential Proclamation No. 818, the month of May is declared as Ease of Doing Business Month, reaffirming the government’s commitment to transparent, accountable, and citizen-centered public service.
This year’s campaign highlights the importance of transparency, accountability, digital transformation, and institutional integrity in delivering efficient governance and meaningful reforms for Filipinos. Anchored on three key pillars: (1) Connectivity and Smart Infrastructure, (2) Transparency and Workforce Empowerment, and (3) Accountability and Integrity, the initiative promotes technology-driven governance, responsive public service, and corruption-free transactions.
In line with this, the University continues to strengthen public awareness on EODB through the dissemination of relevant information, activities, and advocacies in support of the Anti-Red Tape Authority (ARTA). Through reforms, digitalization, and responsive services, SorSU remains committed to integrity and excellence in serving its stakeholders.
