Over its 23-month implementation, the project studied 443 households with a total population of 1,640 residents, produced multiple research publications, policy briefs, IEC materials, and copyrighted creative outputs, while also strengthening partnerships with local government units, DENR Region V, and community organizations. Through research, advocacy campaigns, and conservation activities, Project DANAO aims to protect the 3-hectare geothermal lake ecosystem while promoting sustainable ecotourism and inclusive community participation.
