Sorsogon State University (SorSU), through the collective efforts of the Office of Quality Assurance, the SorSU-Accreditation Task Force, and Accreditation Working Committees, successfully concluded the Online Program Accreditation for its two curricular programs: BSA and BSIT, with a virtual closing program via Zoom Meeting on October 21, 2025.
The ceremony commenced with an overall impression from Dr. Narciso F. Castro (AACCUP, Inc. Coordinator), who presented key points from the rigorous online accreditation process. This was followed by a response and a statement of commitment from Dr. Jhonner D. Ricafort (Vice President for Academic Affairs).
After an intermission featuring a performance of Pantomina De Sorsogon by the SorSU-Dance Theater and Cultural Group (DTCG) via an audio-visual presentation (AVP), the event continued with the virtual presentation of certificates of recognition to the esteemed panel of AACCUP accreditors.
The ceremony formally concluded with closing remarks from Dr. Telesforo D. Escoto (Campus Director, SorSU-Sorsogon City Campus) and Dr. Ma. Elena C. Demdam (Campus Director, SorSU-Bulan Campus). (SorSU PIO)
