SorSU hurdles Q&A on its 2nd day of remote AACCUP visit

On day two, SorSU’s faculty and staff from Sorsogon City and Magallanes campuses braced for the on-site Q&A classroom observation as part of the evaluation of the ten (10) curricular programs lined up for Level III and IV Phase 1 AACCUP accreditation.

The accreditors led by overall Coordinator, Dr. Marcela T. Caluscosin from Don Mariano Marcos Memorial State University, observed via Zoom on-site classes of faculty from the three campuses discussing various topics on education, electrical technology, entrepreneurship, information technology, and agriculture. The faculty presenters and students were also interviewed for validation of the curriculum materials used and submitted and also given recommendations for improvements in critical areas as seen by the accreditors.

At the main campus, Prof. Marigrace D. Carretero and Prof. Jackielyne Bosquillos (Education program), Engr. Rap Tatad (Technology program) and Ms. Cristina Ditan (Entrepreneurship program) conducted their classroom demonstrations successfully. Mr. Marlon B. Gabelo also went through the same process for the agriculture program of Castilla campus. (SorSU PIO)
