Due to the ongoing effects of Shearline, which has led to continuous heavy rainfall and flooding, the entire Province of Sorsogon id currently under a RED WARNING as stated in PAFASA’s Heavy Rainfall Advisory No. 3 issued at 11:00PM on January 29, 2025. In response to this situation, the Chairman of the Municipal Disaster Risk reduction and Management Council (MDRRMC) has ordered the suspension of classes at all levels for Thursday, January 30, 2025. Schools are encouraged to shift to asynchronous classes as outlined in DepEd Order No. 22-2024. This measure aims to proactively ensure the safety and well-being of all students and teachers.
