Celebrating academic excellence: Sorsogon State University’s top scientists

The Sorsogon State University proudly congratulates Dr. Ryan V. Dio and Dr. Aaron A. Funa for their remarkable achievements in the field of Mathematics and Science Education, securing Rank 11 and Rank 15, respectively, in the Philippines’ Top 40 Scientists as based on the AD Scientific Index Report and University rankings 2024.

In addition to these individual honors, the university reports a significant increase in the faculty’s research contributions. From 12 university scientists recorded in 2022, the number has now grown to 27, spanning various fields of expertise.

The Alper-Doger (AD) Scientific Index Ranking is based on the total H-Index scores of prominent scientists. It also provides rankings of institutions based on the scientific characteristics of the scientists, thus providing additional insights into the scientific contributions of affiliated institutions.
