The SorSU Castilla Family proudly celebrates Rica Adelaine Oliquino (BSA CS 4A) of Sorsogon State University – Castilla Campus for capturing Third Place in the National Kabataang OA 2024 Quiz Bee! Representing Region V, Rica competed against 14 regional contestants, bringing pride to the Bicol Region with her outstanding achievement.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Mr. Marlon Garbin Gabelo for his unwavering guidance, mentorship, and support, which were invaluable to Rica throughout her journey in the competition. His commitment and dedication played a pivotal role in helping Rica reach this impressive milestone. We also acknowledge Mrs. Genly Morante Gonzales and Ms. Mary Jane C. Tolosa, who served as Rica’s coaches from the Regional Competition all the way to her training and preparation for the national event.
A special thank you goes to Ma’am Justine Rose C. Tubig, DMO II and Organic Agriculture Focal Person, along with her committed technical staff, Ms. Kristine Prieto, for representing ATI Bicol with pride and excellence in this competition. Their presence and support truly elevated this remarkable milestone.
Held in Quezon City on November 14, 2024, this year’s Kabataang OA Quiz Bee, organized by the Agricultural Training Institute, showcased the passion and excellence of young agricultural advocates. Rica’s success is a testament to her hard work and determination.
