SorSU President De Jesus formally took her oath of office on May 26, 2026, administered by Dr. Shirley C. Agrupis (Chairperson, Commission on Higher Education). The ceremony was witnessed by Dr. Ricmar P. Aquino (CHED Commissioner and SorSU BOR Chairperson), along with SorSU BOR members: Hon. Evelina G. Escudero (representing Hon. Joel J. Villanueva – Chairperson of the Senate Committee on Higher, Technical and Vocational Education), Dir. Rodel P. Tornilla (Regional Executive Director, Department of Agriculture – Regional Office V), Dr. Jhonner D. Ricafort (Alumni Regent), Dr. Perry F. Carpio (Faculty Regent), and Hon. Ralph Laurence M. Janoras (Student Regent). She was also joined by her family, who provided support during this significant milestone.
