President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. has declared April 1, 2025, a regular nationwide holiday in observance of Eid’l Fitr, the Feast of Ramadan. Proclamation No. 839, signed on March 20, 2025, follows Republic Act No. 9177 and the recommendation of the National Commission on Muslim Filipinos (NCMF). This marks a significant celebration for the Filipino Muslim community and is recognized as a day of festivity and prayer.
The Sorsogon State University joins our Muslim brothers and sisters in peace and harmony in the observance and celebration of the Feast of Ramadan.
