The holiday spirit came alive at Sorsogon State University when SUC President III, Dr. Geraldine F. De Jesus led the lighting of the giant Christmas tree on December 13, 2024. The much-anticipated event drew a large crowd, with hundreds of people gathering to witness the moment when the lights were switched on.
The event included performances from Instrumentos De Cordo, Tech Duo, SorSU Marching Band, and student organizations and was made even more joyful by a lively mob dance. Children were also thrilled to receive candies and treats, further spreading the holiday cheer.
