In a joint effort to promote public safety and strengthen community awareness, the Philippine National Police-Explosive Ordnance Disposal and Canine Group (PNP EOD/K9 Group), in collaboration with Sorsogon State University (SorSU) Administrative Division, led by Dr. Ma. Sylisa J. Estur (Chief Administrative Officer), conducted an educational lecture on Project A.B.K.D. (Awareness of Bombs that Kill Lives and Destroy Properties) on July 16, 2025, at SorSU Audio Visual Hall, Sorsogon City.
The lecture aimed to enhance community readiness and increase awareness about explosive-related incidents. Among the topics covered were: bomb threat management, safety protocols during bombing incidents, and emerging trends in improvised explosive devices (IEDs).
This collaborative effort reflects a shared commitment to promoting a safer environment through knowledge, vigilance, and community involvement. (SorSU PIO)
