Sorsogon State University (SorSU) SUC President III, Dr. Geraldine F. De Jesus, together with Dr. Alfonso L. Garcia, Jr. (Dean, College of Teacher Education), received a Certificate of Recognition from the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) and the Professional Regulatory Board for Professional Teachers (PRBPT) during the Oath-taking Ceremony of the New Professional Teachers on January 19, 2025, at the Albay Astrodome, Legazpi City, Albay — honoring SorSU’s outstanding achievement in the September 2024 Licensure Examination for Professional Teachers (LEPT), where the academe successfully ranked 7th among Top Performing Schools nationwide in the elementary level with an exemplary performance rating of 90.91%.
Among the inductees who joined the face-to-face oath-taking ceremony were SorSUeno LEPT passers. The event was also graced by Mr. Sharo B. Lo (Regional Director, PRC ROV), Hon. Paz I. Lucido (Vice-Chairperson, Board for Professional Teachers), Hon. Paraluman R. Giron (Member, Board for Professional Teachers), and Dr. Nora L. Licup (Former President, Philippine Association for Teachers and Educators).
