The accreditation, awarded under Accreditation No. PROV-2025-28449, is valid from March 4, 2025 to March 4, 2028.

This significant achievement enables the university to offer CPD programs to enhance the skills and qualifications of SorSU’s professional teachers and personnel. The application for the accreditation was spearheaded by the university’s Human Resource Management and Development Office (HRMDO), with Dr. Abner L. Dellosa (HRMDO Head) and Ms. Camila Monet Jaylo at the forefront, and the SorSU Research, Extension & Training (RET) Office, led by Dr. Ryan V. Dio (VP for RET), and Prof. Frances Grace J. Jetomo.

As a CPD provider, SorSU is now authorized to organize and deliver accredited programs and activities designed to support the continuous professional growth of teachers and personnel. This initiative is expected to contribute significantly to the development of the teaching profession in Sorsogon and beyond, reinforcing the university’s commitment to academic excellence and community service.
