Sorsogon State University (SorSU) continues to demonstrate its commitment to community engagement and public safety by forging a partnership with the Sorsogon Police Provincial Office to advance the objectives of the Safe Spaces Act. On May 5, 2025, a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) was signed at Camp Salvador C. Escudero Sr., Sorsogon City, marking a significant step in the university’s continued efforts to create a safe and inclusive environment for all.
SUC President III, Dr. Geraldine F. De Jesus, and Sorsogon Police Provincial Director PCOL Alex C. Daniel formalized the agreement, which aims to implement initiatives focused on educating the community about the Safe Spaces Act.
