The Faculty Organization of Sorsogon State University Castilla Campus held a consultative meeting today to discuss the proposed Health Break Leave for faculty members. Led by Faculty Association (FA) President, Dr. Perry F. Carpio, the initiative aims to enhance the well-being of faculty members by providing designated time for rest and recuperation amidst their demanding schedules.
The meeting, held at 8:00 AM at the Farmer’s Training Center (FTC) Hall, provided a platform for faculty members to share their insights and feedback on the proposal.
The event began with opening remarks from SorSU Castilla Campus Director, Prof. Andrew F. Detera, followed by the introduction of Dr. Carpio by Castilla Faculty Organization President, Prof. Achilles G. Honasan.
Dr. Carpio detailed the objectives and benefits of the Health Break Leave initiative. Following his presentation, an open forum allowed attendees to share suggestions and raise questions regarding the proposal. The meeting concluded with closing remarks from SorSU Castilla Faculty Organization Secretary, Engr. Charleen Grace V. Deniega.
