The premiere agricultural school in the province of Sorsogon again opened its doors for the school year 2023-2024 today, August 22, 2023. the flag ceremony started at 7: 15 a.m. in attendance are students, faculty, and personnel of SorSU-CC.
After the flag ceremony Prof. Andrew F. Detera, SorSU-CC Campus Director, gave his welcome message and introduced the personnel and administrators of the campus. Subsequently, BAT Program Chairperson Mr Jobert Arcilla and BSA Program Chairperson Mr. Jerome Llabres introduced the BSA and BAT Department faculty.
The College Student Council of SorSU-CC prepared a mini program to officially start the school year. To start the program Mr. Jerome Gigantoca, SAS Coordinator, rendered a welcome message to the students. The Culture and Arts Club Dancers gave a Zumba Dance rendition, followed by an Intermission number presented by the CAAC Hip Hop Dancers. Afterwards, Ms. Chrstine Mendoza, CSC OIC Secretary, explained the different activities organized by the College Student Council, such as Photobooth, Balik Aral Wall and other surprises for the SorSU-CC Student Community.
