Since its launch last year, Sorsogon State University (SorSU) has consistently continued its Nourish to Flourish initiative — providing free, nutritious breakfast for SorSUeno students. Led by Sorsogon State University – College of Health and Science (CoHaS), a total of 280 SorSUeno students were served with healthy macaroni soup today, February 05, 2025, at the SorSU Covered Court, Sorsogon City Campus.
Today’s free breakfast program — tagged “Sa CoHaS, pag-Healthy ka, Happy ka!” — was successfully organized through the collective efforts of CoHaS officials, faculty members, and staff, including Prof. Teresa Haide R. Belgica (Acting Dean, CoHaS), Ms. Mary Ann Frances D. Reyes (Associate Dean, BS Midwifery), Mr. Robert J. Jamisola (Associate Dean, BS Nursing), Dr. Richard V. Dumilag, Dr. Aaron A. Funa, Ms. Genevieve F. Roxas, Dr. Chedie Cambaliza, Ms. Ma. Joahna D. Perdigon, Ms. Jerica D. Latonero, Ms. Karina Mae Carillo, Ms. Cyrine Burton, and Ms. Dina Dipad. Their dedicated support and assistance ensured that students were well-served throughout the initiative.
Aligned with the United Nation’s Sustainable Development Goal 2: Zero Hunger, SorSU’s Nourish to Flourish program underscores the University’s commitment to fostering a nurturing academic community that champions students’ well-being and holistic development. (SorSU PIO)
