Sorsogon State University recently conducted an Internal Quality Audit (IQA) on February 17, 2025, to evaluate the effectiveness of its Quality Management System (QMS). The audit, performed by the university’s IQA team was part of SorSU’s ongoing efforts to uphold the highest standards of operational efficiency and academic excellence.
The objective of the audit was to assess the university’s preparedness for future external evaluations and certification audits. By conducting this internal audit, the university seeks to improve its system to meet the growing demands of higher education.
During the audit, the IQA team conducted interviews with process owners from different units across the campus. In addition, the team reviewed procedures and documentation to verify compliance with established standards and best practices.
