SorSU-CoTEd celebrates BEED, BTVTED Day

Bearing the respective themes, “BEEDaFest: Where Learning Meets Fun” and “Empowering BTVTED students: A Pathway to Success,” State University – College of Teacher Education (SorSU-CoTEd), through its Future Elementary Educators (FEED) and Institute of Future Technical Educators (IFTE) student organizations, successfully celebrated its BEED Day and BTVTED Day, at the SorSU Social Hall and SorSU Covered Court, respectively, last April 18, 2024.

FEED President Gener Nathaniel Lasap commenced the BEED event with a welcome message, followed by the opening remarks from Ms. Shane D. Escalante (FEED Adviser).

The BEED Day featured conference talk sessions, including Process of Teaching Emergent Readers: Developing Students’ Reading Literacy by Ms. Kristel Ann Dipad (Teacher III) as well as Localized Tutorial Services: Importance and Advantages to SorSU Education Students by Prof. Susan Mae A. Jamoralin (Program Chair, BCAED/BPED).

Further, the event also engaged the BEED students in yell-making, dance mob, and team-building activities.

Meanwhile, the BTVTED Day highlighted the Dressing and Drawing of Chicken & Table Skirting by BTVTED-FSM students; Charging System Wiring Activity & Motorcycle Lighting System Wiring Activity by BTVTED-Automotive; and Pipe Bending & Recycling Contest by BTVTED-Electrical in the afternoon session.

Dr. Fely A. Habla (IFTE Adviser) gave the opening remarks during the morning activity, where Ms. Roselle D. Villanueva (Teacher II) delivered an inspirational message, while Ms. Yedda Ricia D. Andes (Teacher I) led the talk session called Discussion on Professionalism. (SorSU PIO)
