SorSU DTCG Performs at the Regional Civil Engineering Students’ Summit (RCESS)

Sorsogon State University (SorSU) Dance Troupe and Cultural Group (DTCG) exhibited their exceptional talent during the recent Regional Civil Engineering Students’ Summit (RCESS) held on November 29, 2024, at the Sorsogon Provincial Gymnasium.

The summit, themed “MONTECIV: Assembling Visions and Constructing Futures of Bicolano Civil Engineering Minds for Innovation, Collaboration, and Sustainable Progress,” convened 13 participating institutions from across the Bicol Region. The SorSU DTCG presented an enchanting intermission performance of the “Jota Sevillana,” a traditional Spanish dance, thereby enriching the event with cultural significance.

The performance elicited enthusiasm and appreciation from the audience, comprising civil engineering students and professionals, as the DTCG showcased their remarkable dance skills. SorSU expresses gratitude for the opportunity to highlight its students’ talents, thereby contributing to the overall success and vibrant atmosphere of this year’s summit.
