SorSU Engineering students bag 4th Place at Engineering Congress 2024 Executives’ Challenge XIX

The Sorsogon State University (SorSU) proudly congratulates its Engineering students for victoriously securing 4th Place (out of 35 competing academic institutions across the country with a total of 66 teams) at the Executives’ Challenge XIX: A National Inter-Collegiate Engineering Science Quiz Contest during the recently-concluded Engineering Congress 2024, last March 24, 2025, at the University of the Philippines Los Banos (UPLB).

Two teams (Team 1 & Team 2) were sent as representatives by the University for this year’s Engineering Congress. Remarkably, Team 1 successfully advanced to the final round and was ultimately hailed as the 4th Placer. The Pamantasang May Puso extends its warm congratulations to the following students-winners, participants, and respective coaches for seizing the 4th place award and raising the flag of the institution in the national competition, to wit:

As a point of reference, following the receipt of the Engineering Congress 2024 invitation from the UPLB, the SorSU Engineering-Architecture Students Association (EASA) held the Executives’ Elimination last December 29, 2023, to identify and assess eight qualified quizzers as representatives of the institution to the event. Meanwhile, the Engineering Congress is an annual national event hosted and organized by the Civil Engineering Executive Organization – University of the Philippines Los Banos (CEO UPLB).
