SorSU-Health Services Unit spearheads Community Outreach Program 2024 for 20 pupils of Monbon Elem School, Irosin

In a heartfelt demonstration of generosity and community spirit, Sorsogon State University – Health Services Unit (SorSU-HSU), headed by Dr. Medin J. Nicolas (Head, SorSU-HSU), successfully organized its Community Outreach Program 2024 for 20 pupils of Monbon Elementary School, in Brgy. Monbon, Irosin, Sorsogon on December 6, 2024.

Through the activity, the pupils learned more about personal hygiene and good nutrition, including handwashing by Mr. Francis O. Antonio (Nurse, HSU), oral health by Dr. Nicolas, nutrition by Ms. Amelyn G. Gonzales (Nurse, HSU), and dengue fever by Ms. Maynelle D. Gredona (Nurse, HSU). The SorSU-HSU’s initiative highlighted the gift-giving session, where the young learners received essential hygiene kits and snacks.
