SorSU holds 1st Quarter Research and Extension Council (RECO) Evaluation

Sorsogon State University (SorSU), led by the Office of Research, Extension, and Training (RET), under the leadership of Dr. Ryan V. Dio (VPRET), conducted the 1st Quarter Research and Extension Council (RECO) Evaluation Meeting today, May 09, 2024, at SorSU Audio-Visual Hall, Sorsogon City Campus.

The RECO evaluation meeting covered various key agenda items related to research and extension activities, particularly Research and Extension Targets; RET Updates such as Commercialization/Utilization, Partnerships, Corporate Social Responsibility (QS Ranking), Journal Publications, RET Manual Updates, & Externally Funded RET Projects; Review of Extension Project Proposals; Review of Research Project Proposals; and other matters. Further, the afternoon activity demonstrated thorough RECO assessment for approval, ensuring the quality and effectiveness of the University’s research and extension undertakings.

Headed by SUC President III, Dr. Geraldine F. De Jesus, the meeting was also attended by Dr. Jhonner D. Ricafort (Vice President for Academic Affairs); Campus Directors: Dr. Telesforo D.
