To recognize the valuable contributions of its workforce, Sorsogon State University (SorSU) held its annual Employees Day on May 28, 2025. The event was jointly organized by the Faculty Association from SorSU’s four campuses, under the leadership of Dr. Perry F. Carpio, and the Non-Teaching Personnel Association (NTPA), headed by Mr. Francis O. Antonio.
The program, designed to strengthen unity and foster a more cohesive and supportive work environment within the university community, began with a Zumba session at the SorSU covered court.
To further support employee well-being, the organizers provided hot meals and free wellness services, including manicures, pedicures, haircuts, and massages. These activities offered a welcome break from work and encouraged interaction across campuses.
A basketball exhibition match was one of the main highlights of the celebration. It was followed by a boodle fight, which allowed faculty and non-teaching staff to enjoy a shared meal.
Through this initiative, the Pamantasang May Puso continues to reinforce its dedication to building a supportive and engaged university community. (SorSU PIO)
